where to buy throttle body?

im having a vacuum/boost leak from the shaft inside the throttle body. the shaft has up&down and also side to side play so i guess its time to replace. the problem is that i cannot find one anywhere near where i am so im looking for a rebuilt unit or some kind of upgrade like a 52mm bore. i saw the new 58mm at rpm but its a bit too pricey and too much for me. i took a look on ebay and they seem a bit different (cable linkage and tps) any suggestions?

there is a guy on ebay that auctions off his rebuilding services on these and everyone that gets it done seems to be happy with it. he also will bore it out for you.

I had Matt Blum repair the leaking shaft on my TB and bore it to 52mm. He did a nice job and is a real nice guy. mjb_machine@yahoo.com

If you notice the ebay ones take A different IAC control,, I had A heck of A time to get it working right with mine Just FYI it takes A 91 ZR1 IAC controller, You will have to rewire to the ZR1 style IAC. IT is A pain. I have A perfect working stock TB for $30 bux shipped. I bought A 1050 CFM TB from Arizona speed & Marine. $607.00

I bought a NOS throttle body, still in the Delco box, recently. Haven't used it, pm if interested.

I have a used throttle body that just came off my truck. Worked perfectly and has the SLP air foil. All it needs is the tv/cruise bracket that you can unbolt from your existing one. I would like to keep the tps and iac sensors as spares. Pm if interested. I would be willing to let it go

I sent an e-mail to Matt, and so far no reply. Also, he is no longer on eBay. Perhaps he has stopped doing TB service.

Those are still 48mm stockers, and they will eventually leak around the shafts.

i used a professional products 58mm, from a tpi place on ebay, i drilled out the stock clips on the linkage for tpi's and bolted on the syty end. make sure you get the tpi one with the same TPS sensor. works great.

Give it a few more days. I just got mine rebuilt by him about two weeks ago. I took it apart to powder coat it and he did a great job
