I never had an issue with stock as long as my brakes were adjusted and in good shape.

I know that my 2.8 booster is smaller, and v8 swap guys like to swap to the 4.3l booster. I swapped to it from my clone hoping it would give more assist vs the small 2.8 one even though it takes up more space. If it ever wasn't enough Id go hydro boost. It's not complicated.

If you're in the "less is more" camp, you can go manual brakes.

If you opt to go that route, be sure to modify the brake pedal arm for it or else you're going to have a hard time stopping...
