A lot of that would depend on color, personal preference of the years etc. Personally I like the 92 better but other may disagree.

I was reading the thread about the 24000 mile typhoon with people talking back and forth about whether a 92 or 93 is worth more. So I decided to host a pole to decide the matter. Consider the two trucks identical other than the small differences between the years.

If it was my choice I would either buy teh 93 and put 92 seats in it or buy the 92. NADA had 93 worth more than 92. I prefer 92 because of the seats. I like some of the feature of the 93 better than 92's.
I think 93 will always be worth more because they are the last year and they made a few less of them.

IMHO.....I would think that the first year would be worth more especially since they are more unique as far as more Typhoon specific parts. I would say it also depends on the production number and condition, but an item is only worth as much as someone will pay for it.....:2cents:

x2. As I said in a previous thread, the market between the two is virtually indistinguishable. Aside from color rarities, the differences are too subtle to alter true market value.
This is not like 84/85 GNs vs. 86/87 GNs which were VASTLY different and demand much different money, regardless of production numbers.
It comes down to what the buyer wants and how much they are willing to pay, otherwise there would be no difference in the two trucks you list here.

Assuming condition is the exact same condition (wear on the interior, tires, paint etc) I'd go with a 93. Partly because that's the only year of SyTy I haven't owned, but also because it doesn't have those stupid echelons around the door handles. I'm not really a fan of the fat man seats though, so those would probably be swapped out for some Recaros or similar.
That being said, I wouldn't let the year deter me from buying a truck. The model year would be dead last on my priority list.

I like the '92 because of the seats. imo.Thich is why ive owned two 1992. They are buckets more sporty and have the Typhoon embroidered in seat back. Other than that it wouldnt matter to me.
