Wierd sound at wot

Ok so me and my cousin were having some trick or treat fun at around 40mph we both jumped on it and at around lets say 75mph my truck made a quick psssst pssst sound back to back kinda like a spray. I immediatly let off and coasted to the stop light. I did not get any check engine and the truck didnt bog when it happened. I'm not sure how much psi I was making at that time. I popped the hood and checked my vac lines and checked for leaks. Everything seems ok., Has this ever happens to any one else?

No it wasn't my wastegate. I was still accelerating and was at wot.

Boost leak?

Well 2 weeks ago I pressurized the system and fix all the leaks I found. The only leak that is still present is the throttle body linkage. But a boost leak was my first guess. It was just wierd cause it was a fast pssst pssst. It sounded similar to someone hitting the switch on an air bag system twice real fast if that makes any sense.

Check the clamps from the throttle body and intercooler pipe.

I think that's when the wastegate works.

The clamp on my turbo to ic hose was a little loose but I dont think it was enough to cause the noise. Im gna go out for a ride and ill check back.

I would not come on here and call guys dumbass's IMO exspecially when you need help, i would say if your truck only did this once and still runs and drives fine?! I would just let it be. To me there is no sence in pullin your hair out over a small noise that happned just once

First of all I said keep his dumb ass "COMMENTS" to his self. I didn't call him that. Anf
Second I know that in the heat of the moment when something happens to any of our trucks we wants answers right away. And some more then others (new owners) are not quite sure exactly whats goin on, so sites like this one are available for answers. And yea it only happened once but what if that once was something really bad. There is a handfull of people on this site that actually cares about whats goin on with other members and are quick to help and then there are idiots that just post comments just to do it. Lets not forget what this site is and what its up for...... Thanks to those who responded to the subject at hand.

I would look at the wastegate also.
It could be doing just what is supposed to. what are the mods on the truck? Turbo,Exhaust,so on. Could help us help you.
Don't get frustrated. Someone here will be able to help.
Realfast is a good dude. He was just implying that no matter if your accelerating or not if you exceed the max boost setting of the gate it will bleed the excess boost off. I am sure you know all that. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
