Wiper arms

How exactly do you remove these? I want to repaint the entire arm to new again. Any tips?

I took mine off to powdercoat them earlier this summer.. if i remember correctly all I had to do was first unhook the rubber lines on the inside of the wiper frame, then i got a small flathead screwdriver and insertied it at the joint area and put in a bit of pressure and some wiggling and it popped right off.

"Wiper arm removal trick. Lift arm slightly off windshield and insert a small nail or drill bit through this hole. Then gently lift arm straight off post."
