Wrenching at Nats?

Is anyone up for doing some wrenching at Nats? I've got some ATR black beauties to install as well as a Walbro fuel pump, but I think you have to drop the tank for the fuel pump which probably won't be fun at Nats. So if anyone can help me change some wires, it would be greatly appreciated. AND, once it's done, I will have a case of beer for the helpers to polish off with me!

Should I pick up some new plugs as well while I'm changing the wires or does it really matter?

I'm totally in for wrenching... (if I get a boost launch/ride after the work!!!!)

"will work for boost"<--------------------------

As for the Walbro, I recommend bringing an air compressor and an impact wrench and impact sockets.......also a flathead screwdriver and hammer.....

If you are the first to respond to this post and:

1. Owns a Typhoon, and this is your first SyTy Nats
2. Does not have a walbro fuel pump
3. Offers to give Chris a hand if he decides to do the fuel pump.

Gets this free at the Nats.....

thats awesome of you to offer that up scott...

I'm out of the running, because this isn't my first nats, and my truck won't be there.
Also doing the fuel pump is a bitch.. good luck to whomever helps him out.

You got it Dan. Jas' aka Loeryder will have it for you to pick up at Nats. :D

It might be too hot out to do the swap, so regardless of what happens its yours.

Re: Wrenching at Nats?

I will be wrenching. I need to lower the rear, and change injectors/chip. I also need to change my shift governor. It all depends on how many extra parts I bring. Governor is my main concern, else there will be no KCIR!

Will there be wrenching at nats.......Of course there will.....

First year I attended I helped Hardman put his truck togethor almost in the parking lot. It kinda ran after that, but not real well....I think it made the trip to the track anyway, and maybe a few laps around the parking lot.
