WTB: Syclone, Typhoon, 91-94 Bravada Transfer case adapter

Gathering parts for a 4l80E swap into a 2000 4x4 Blazer. Looks like in order to use the RPM adapter to 4L80E I need the correct transfer case adapter. Part # looks to be 15661062 and only came in Sy/Ty and 91-94 Bravadas. (700r4, 4l60 to BW4472, 1372)

The only issue with the other adapters is I'm needing to mate it to the RPM 4l80E 4 to 6 bolt adapter

(I got adapters adapting adapters over here! ).

The 96 and 97 have a 6 to 5 bolt transfer case adapter which wont work with the above flange. I need the 4 to 5 bolt adapter. As for the Astro/Safari option, I'm pretty sure its not identical as the specific part number only lists for Sy, Ty, and 91-94 Bravada. Dave, I thought you looked at Astro/Safari adapter and found it clocked the transfer case incorrectly?

15683749 is the part number for 90-95 Astro/Safari...

they do look very much alike...sy/ty/bravada 90-94

Dave, I think I'll stick to the already tested 15661062 adapter...dont go lookin under any Astros/Safaris on my behalf...tho if I go to a pick-a-part I may take a gander myself just out of curiosity now

I know I have an adapter at home, i'm just not sure which one I have .... (4x4 vs AWD) I'll check tonight for you.

Just checked, mine says 083 on it, bummer. If I remember correctly I think my tranny guy gave me my trans back with this adapter thinking any old s series adapter would work. I installed the trans only.to find out what the difference was. The propshaft hit the floor board with the way it was clocked. He found my specific adapter in his shop and I just hung onto this one.

15683749 is the part number for 90-95 Astro/Safari...

item #1 will need to be modified. I cut the flat bar off of it and made it longer. You can also make a new angeled peice that goes onto the transfer case, but the way I did mine took less than a hour to do.

Norm, are you saying you used an Astro/Safari transfer case adapter? If so, why? Looks like your swap was into a Ty which should have the correct adapter already. Or just giving a tip on the install ?

On item #1 ,it is the support brace. The small peice at the end where the 2 bolts go through it. The 80-e is longer in length than the 700r4 is. Cut that small triangle off and make a longer one with 2 holes in it.
