WTF NOW-Horn and overhead dome light don't work

Last night I had the dome light on switching cds. Then I go to turn in on again later and it won't work, so I figure the bulb is burned out. Okay, I'll just get a new one today. I go to honk the horn today and it won't work. What could be wrong, possibly a fuse, but is the horn and dome light on the same circuit? Any ideas

Check fuses. Its ez and its mostlikely your problem.

I think it's one of the large silver looking fuses on the lower right side of the fuse box.

dose your cd player still work?

this happend to me and it turned out to be the fuse relay. it is behind the dash right next to your e-brake release. it cost bout 15 bux.

yea, cd player still worked fine....i pulled the 20amp fuse, which contains both the horn and the dome light and it was blown. Quicker and easier fix than I thought.....now back to beatin' fords.

Now the next step is to find out why the fuse burned out in the first place. They don't blow just by themselves. It may be part of the relay for the horn or could be the insulation was abraded for the circuit.

thats the same fuse thats for the cig lighter I bet thats your problem never been in a sy or ty that didnt pop that fuse.

thanks for the help guys....i got it figured out. i put some 100 watt h3 bulbs in the fog lights, and it worked for a week. but everytime i replaced the fuse, it was fine until i turned the lights on. so i put some 55 watt bulbs back in and everything seems to work alright for now. i figured that the cigarette lighter was on that too and thought about that, but i guess the fog lights are on that one also. thanks again

i blew the same fuse this weekend too but that is bc i was taking the cd player out and pulled the cig thing out to far with my radar dector still plugged in and it blew the fuse, I knew exactly what it was bc i have blown the same fuse in my blazer about 4 times.
