All i have to do is drive 15miles and i would have been at the Doubletree last night with the Sy. But low and behold it sticks to its name (POS GMC SYCLONE) and i now have a decent pile of black gold under the thing. (Story goes I over boosted to 25#'s) I also have 5-10#'s less oil pressure than what I had befor this happend.

I thought i blew a head gasket, but there is no coolant, also no oil is leaking around the heads. It is comming from the front of the block somewhere, I am hoping its one of the lines to the filter, but i looks like its comming from the oil pan timming chain cover.

Looks like i will have another long summer, and fall, and im sure i can drag this into the winter as well.

Wow that sux, sorry to hear about your bad luck. That doesn't sound good, especially if you over boosted and oil pressure is low.

Good luck,,,, what was the build on the motor anyways?

Damn Danen, I think our trucks are long lost brothers or something. I severely over boosted mine the other night, had my boost valve on and apparantly one of the hoses cracked and I got into boost, I swear I saw over 30# on the guage. I pooped my pants, but it stayed running and has been purring for about a week now. so everything is ok i guess. weird to hear of these "built" motors giving out so easily, like Zachs for instance. Good luck, one day man, one day.
