thats what i asked the idiot who just wouldn't let off trying to get me to light the tires up this weekend. He was like "Yeah those are the ones that came with V8's right?" even after I explained what it was to him he still was like come on its gotta be do some sorta burn out for us! what an idiot.

Steel Valley Super Nationals were this weekend, awesome time, nothing but muscle cars, hot rods and unfortunatly rice line the streets, excelent time! it's amazing how many people have no idea what a Sy/Ty is, i must have explained what a syclone is to 50 people, and then there's the small group who actually know what the truck is who want to shoot the chit with ya for 20 min, i've owned a few nice cars, but nothing has ever brought the attn/conversations/intrest that the Sy has! :tup:

LOL! This happens to me every time I go to car events in Brazil. And I dont know why but everybody (and I mean "every body") thinks they are bi-turbo :rotf:

Eyes are usually drawn to the tumor in front of my windshield but once they notice the rest of it subject matter turns into the hour long conversation consisting mostly of "and that's why he changed this."

Had the reverse of that happen to me a few years ago. A goof ball mustang bud of mine ALWAYS said "light em up" every time he saw me and for once I had the front drive shaft out and did a big ol nasty burnout right in front of him. Stood there with a deer in the head lights look as I pulled away all crossed up spinning molten rubber/gravel/smoke all over him (he knew the truck is AWD).

I never told him that I yanked the ds and he never bothered to ask how I did a burnout but I can tell he wants to know...badly...just doesnt wanna ask.

and then I sometimes have to explain to people why awd is different from 4 wheel drive, and that its not like theyre blazer, which can shift out 4wd. some people get it, some dont but agree anyhow because I just made them look like a dumbass, and others still argue and say "I'll show you how to get out of 4wd".... :slap:

I used to only get people asking WTF is that, and there is the occasional people asking me to show them what its got. I was driving one time, just got out of the body shop and was still having boost problems, and this crazy Puerto Rican dude was out of his window at a traffic light(who knew what a TY was) He was like aww man, give her some gas man, I wanna see what she can do. I had to explain I was having boost problems, I felt bad, he seemed pretty excited.

lol haven't had anyone offer to show me how to take it out of 4wd yet :rotf: seems like no one around here has a clue what it is. yeah, umm next.

Mine is made AFTER the Typhoon with a GN motor. Twin turbo too. AND AWD IS NOT 4WD!!!

A friend of mine mentioned something about Syclones today. He was convinced that hey were twin turbo with 395 hp.

He also said his 93 CPI Blazer has 290 stock and my 01 Blazer has 95 less than that.

Typhoon? That's just an appearance package. Yep. 2.8 V6 with spoilers

LOL, I wish my 92 blazer had 290 stock, then I probably wouldnt be selling it. Last time I checked it had 200hp/250ft lbs :D and the new blazers run about 190hp I thought :dunno: Looks like I got the wrong model. :tup:
