Rodney,
You came recommended by other people on this board for rebuilding a 4l80e's to swap into my typhoon. I was just wanting to talk to you and get some information on your rebuilds and how your pricing compares to local shops.
Details on my truck, The engine has a built bottom end, 422 cam, Stealth 70 Turbo and it ran the quarter at 12.2 at 112mph before the 700R4 quit. I believe the engine is capable of 11 second quarter mile times i just need to get the right transmission behind it. That is where you come in. I have a 4l80e that apparently came out of wrecked 2001 HD Silverado, I don't know much else about its history because I bought it from a guy who was going to do a 4l80e swap but opted out later. So I am the 3rd owner of it. After going through three 700R4's during the last 7 years I am just looking to put this one 4l80e behind it and never think twice. I have the heavy torque that came with the 4l80e but I would like one more oriented for street/strip performance. I haven't spent a great deal of time researching 4l80e torque converters but I would like something that lockups and stalls around 2800-3000 RPM. I got a lot questions but you come highly recommend and reputable which is why I am turning to you. Please give me a call at 913 669 8878 I am pretty busy during your normal business hours so leave a message if I can not answer or PM me back on here. I am interested if you stand behind your work with any sort of warranty and if you could provide a price quote for the tranny and converter I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You
Ted Bauer
