I just ordered the Koni's (30 series) from Daryl at shox.com. I will post the part #'s later. I think I paid $319 for four and shipping is free! 30's are adjustable too.

Shop said they can't drain it unless the AC is malfunctioning. Is it a big deal to drain it? I know the legal ramifications, but I mean effort wise. What can I tell a shop to get around this?

Maybe a naiive question, but from where do you drain the freon? Is there an actual drain/plug anywhere underneath?

I was looking at some kits too. Maybe another group purchase possibility. BDubb set up one for the SMC kit with 5 or more people @ 10% off, 10 or more for 15% off, etc. I think I'd be willing to do it. The list price is $350 from what I've seen. there are others for less, but with less features...

Do we use the liquid or the aerosol form of the GM stuff?

Anybody know about how much weight we lose by removing all AC components?

Isn't psi read by the MAP sensor? It's not the pressure within the turbo being measured. If it were, then a larger turbo at the same psi would push more air. So a bigger turbo with less internal pressure and a smaller turbo with more internal pressure can push the same amount of air to result in...

Anything more have to be done before top engine cleaning our trucks other than disconnecting inlet pipe to TB and add cleaner? Do we have to disconnect anything more? Thanks

I've asked before, and no one responded. If the TB is the bottleneck in the system, how would it NOT help to go bigger and/or polished?

Wasn't this truck for sale on ebay today from S. Carolina? White w/ cowl hood?

Did you use them as your everyday tires? How do they handle NOT at the track? How about in wet weather? they are pretty soft, do you get a softer feeling ride? What size wheels were you using?

The rims look great on your vehicle. You said no spacers front or back? What offset rims did you get. All this talk about which spacers and offsets will work has just added to all that confusion. Whatever offset you used looks perfect. Let me know. I will be getting the same wheels soon. Thanks.
