Do you run the oil pump pickup tube in your engine oil pan high up off the bottom of the pan so it does not pick up dirt too? GM made a deep pan for the later model trucks/ subs 4l60e ......#24215535-deep pan with drain plug , they also made a deep filter for it...#24208576 maybe they know...

no deep pans for me ... filter needs to be on the botttom of the pan

Im in Austin , have SY and TY There is an older man just north of me that has two or three Sys, a house in the same area with a Sy and a white Ty (could be the LS swapped white Ty from Canada)

its 4 pin connector .. it may not use all the pins what color are the wires ? you could just have a ground and the TCC lockup wire I think I remember the wires being blue tan/blk purple

700R4 ... MD8 case ....4 wire pigtail on the drivers side the 4l60 is in a M30 case .... 13/14 wire pigtail on the pass side

I dont have a price range... If I like something I will buy it. I might buy a good running Ty with some miles on it in the teens.. or I might pony up a little more cash for someting with lower miles thats clean and speaks to me. I buy what I like.
