There maybe a couple thoughts on the rear end:
-If radials are used (and non-sticky) it might not be such an issue, other than
c-clip (but even this can be gotten around if disc brakes are in the rear)
-If drag radials/slicks are installed, then 12 bolt, or 9" Ford (with larger splines) required,
since traction breaks things, but I dont know what rear ratio John intends on using (especially
with the TH400). So he might be "experimenting".
John (and Jared) are really nice guys, so if asked they might let loose some more details...
(Im glad the ET Fame is being spread around, as odd-fires are special. Now if everyone
in the 9 sec or faster category lines up at the nationals, it could be a "Field-of-Dreams" experience).
