I was checking out my Vin # the other day and noticed that the last 4 digits are 0090. I've known for awhile that the last 4 numbers is the production number for your truck. I just never bothered to look. Anyways, I was just wondering if that makes my truck any more valuable or desireable? I don't want to sell it, I'm just curious.

Congrats on the purchase. Since your number matches the decade these trucks were produced (90's), it is probably very desireable to a collector. If it is an authentic Aspen Blue, it is very desireable to me....if that is the case, let me know if you'd like to sell it .

No thanx, man. I'm not looking to sell it. Besides, the truck is black and I believe it has been black all it's life. I've had it for a few years now, but I just never really looked at the VIN before.

No it's not more valuable (I wish that were true though, #0014 here). And that isn't the number in which they were produced.
