In a local paper, a 1992 Typhoon is up for sale...the guy who owns it (2nd owner...bought it from his relative) has owned it for 10+ years, has all documentation to go with it, has 80k miles or so, 40+k in paperwork (including over 15k in the motor by a VERY credible NW builder who builds nascar motors, 4k in tranny work, 2k in suspension, 7k in audio...no cutouts anywhere, 1.5k in tires and wheel chroming, 10k in paint, and much more.... I will be getting a list of exact mods tomorrow. The motor since being built has less than 100 miles on it. The truck is in extremely great shape and looks amazing. He claims to have been offered over 20k for it a year ago when he had no desire to sell it. But, now, he is forced to sell for a reasonable price (in my opinion). He is dead firm on $12k. What do you guys think? I will get some pics and send them your way soon....

If that one doesn't work out, there is still one for sale where I am. I was thinking about it, but just can't do it right now.
It is a 92 Typhoon, Black w/ grey effects, recent rebuild on both motor and tranny with paper work for everything. It is really spotless. If you want, I could get pictures and more info for you. It is on consignment at the dealer that sold it brand new. It is only the second owner. They are asking 12,900, but the lot guy said the owner is a friend of his, and he was pretty sure he would go down around 11,000. It has 85000 miles on it. Not sure how many on the rebuilds, but I could find out. It seems to be pretty much stock. Stereo, wheels, etc. all stock. It really is nice and clean. Let me know if you want more info or pics.

After talking with the guy selling the black/black today, I really do not trust him. I am passing on the rig. I will gladly give anyone his number. He claimed to have tons of money invested in the rig but has around $8k of true documentation. His stories about the vehicle change daily. He claimed to own the rig 15+ years (?), there were less than 700 Typhoons EVER built (?), the miles on the vehicle are not matching the paperwork/stories he has told me, and much more BS. When I called him out on saying he has put less than 10k on the rig and the paperwork listed 50+k, he stated, "low profile tires often double, triple, or quadruple actual miles..." Well, enough with this ranting, I have yet to see it nor will I unless someone wants me to check it out for them.
