2006 Trailblazer SS AWD 3SS, 100% stock, 120k miles

Worth a shot, in case someone on here is interested.

Selling my SS located in Denver. This thing is very stock, not a single performance mod has ever been installed. The only "mods" are tinting the front windows to match the rear privacy glass, and it was lowered 1.5" only because it needed shocks, which were replaced 5k miles ago (it still rides very smooth). This truck is a nice blank canvas for someone to work on, or just drive as is. Has 120k miles (90% highway miles from me and the previous owner) as of today, but it is my daily, so that will go up.

New transmission, new water pump, new belts, new brakes all around 500 miles ago, oil change 200 miles ago. I change the oil religiously every 3k miles with Mobil1 and NAPA Gold filter. This engine has ALWAYS ran the 1 quart extra oil, as is the only way to prevent oil from sloshing away from the pickup tube (google it or ask me, if you have questions). If you are looking at other TBSS's, ask how much oil they run. If they don't say 1 qt over, the motor is a time bomb! Options are rear air/radio, NAV, Bose sterio, 3SS (heated leather with suede inserts, sunroof), all wheel drive. Asking $17k on craigslist, $16k on here.

Most pictures taken before it was tinted and lowered. See the last 2 for how it looks lowered & tinted. The light area on the airbox and engine cover is from the reflection off the hood, and not fading.

Pics of tint and lowered:

Hmmmmmm, wacha going to replace it with?

Just to back up Austins comments, 7 quarts is a must. I still run 7 quarts on mine even with the PCM of NC pickup relocation, oil pan baffle and Melling high pressure oil pump, its extra insurance and won't cause any crank splash issues, there is a shield and the pan can physically hold 9.25 quarts, so 7 is still very safe on multiple levels.

GLWS.

Looks like a very nice truck. I need a 4 door vehicle so this is tempting...

Beautiful truck. I've always wanted one cause they are a total sleeper, but to anyone who knows what they are talking about, its very sleek. I wish I could afford one, but getting my Ty running is before anything. Good luck on your endeavors, and I hope someone that buys it will take care of it.

It is nice. It's been a great family vehicle. Just eats up the highway miles too (great road trip vehicle). Plus many companies sell headrest for the front seats with TV's built in to the back of them, if you are wanting some in car entertainment.

I miss mine. Good luck with the sale. I am tempted... I would be even more tempted if it was Sapphire or Red Jewel...

I'm glad I picked mine up, its amazingly comfortable to drive, if I wasn't so damn invested in these damn SyTys, I would sell all my Ty stuff and pick up a cheap 5.3 TB to turn into a "race truck" to go along with my SS.

I'm with you a Trailblazer with a 5.3 would be fun and a lot less invested...

I agree here. Having a black Ty its a PITA to keep it clean. I would have to get rid of the Ty also so I could keep the SS in the garage. The Arizona sun would kill that black paint quickly if I left it out in the driveway.

Had a guy email me over the weekend saying my Trailblazer looks clean, and he wants to see it. So I had it detailed yesterday. I normally do this sort of thing on my own, but it was fathers day, and I already had way too much going on (mostly chore type stuff :() But it's clean now. Not a huge fan of the "Armor All over everything" look, and I specifically asked for matte, not gloss, but this is how she looks now.

I got my $16k, yes. Guy was really impressed by how it looked and drove like new. Didn't even try to haggle.

He paid the remainder of my loan, and once the title gets here (should be today or tomorrow) we are going to meet up to exchange the rest of the funds and hand over the keys.

Gone.

Guy handed over the cash and we signed the title last night. For the first time in almost 20 years, I now own only 1 car. WTF happened? I used to own 4 that were just mine!

So whats next Austin? You don't get rid of most of your vehicles without something in the pipeline.

I've actually been down to 2 for a few years now.

That said, I do have something on order that shouldn't be too hard to figure out...
