Re: 93 Ty 1064

Most of the body work was done the epoxy primed to lock everything down

Did wet on wet on the inside to keep from having to scuff it at a later time

M

I will do 2k over the outside after the inside cures

Very nice, you paint for a living? Where are you located?

We are in Tallahassee Florida. I do restorations and SANDMAN builds new cars we work out of the same shop but separate businesses. I do the mechanical he teaches me paint and body.

That is going to be one clean truck when you are done. Way to go, love the pics.
I hope it will be, we are putting a lot of time into this truck. I need doors in the worst way now.

Worked on my rear end today. Stripping the rust took all day then osphoed everything. I am going to replace the cover with a chrome cover.

Then a nice coat of epoxy

Re: 93 Ty 1064

I started with good cladding. With hours of sanding we are getting close to beyond perfect cladding. This is so much work.

2 k primer with reducer and flex agent. Will be a nightmare to sand but hopefully worth it
Oh yeah this is only first prime

Meh.

J/K - looks awesome. :D Nice work.

One thing though... I powdercoated my frame and I was a bit disappointed with it. Some of it has peeled off in places. If I had to do it again, I would probably epoxy it. I'm not sure. That does look good though.

Re: 93 Ty 1064

It's all in the prep. The shop I work in has been using Southern Powder coating for a very long time. We have never had an issue from them. We did try a local place that was absolutely terrible. It peeled and still rusty
