hey i just purchased a ty, and am in the process of fixing it up. has anyone had any luck with scan tools to diagnose engine, tranny, and ABS problems? any help will be appreciated.

buy a laptop & datamaster

you will get the most functionality out of datamaster esp if you already have a laptop.....but I use both laptop and the actron...

what type of cable would i need for the laptop, and where can i get it? also how do i go about getting the datamaster software?
