Air fliter for Typhoon

hey Guys, i am all about keeping my 30k mile 92 Ty all stock and original. I recently took the original exhaust off due to some pitting and a few minor holes and replaced it with RPM's 3 inch stainless kit. just wanted to know which air filter i can put on my Ty with stock location filter in place. could i put a cone in there with no mods and what size inlet? 3 inch?? want to be able to swap out and make stock very easily when it's time for shows etc.. thanks and i hope all you guys are have a nice Holiday!! K&N makes both a panel filter for the stock airbox, and cones/cylinders are also available. I think it is a 3" dia pipe.
