We are new to the site, but I thought you guys would enjoy checking out our most recent project. Enjoy!!!!

This is our latest accomplishment. We try not to take on too many projects, but this one was too cool to pass up.

Truck USED to be a 4.3 Turbo... It is now a heads/cam LS2 .... Yes, it is still AWD!!!!

Mods consist of:

LS2 stock bottom end
TEA Stage 2.5 LS6 Heads
Vengeance Racing Custom Camshaft
Custom Made Headers by John Lee
RPM Level V Transmission
PI 3200 Converter
Ported FAST Intake/BlueMaxx 90mm TB
Custom Cold Air
Wide Glide AC System
FAST Harness
Custom Fuel System
Custom cooling system
blah blah blah..... Too much more to list!!!!


Truck isnt finished yet... Still have to get custom lines for AC/Custom Exhaust/C6 Brakes/C6 Wheels wrapped in Nitto 555Rs/Full interior Resto/Dyno Tuning...

All factory gauges work!!! Fires with factory ignition!!! Retains AWD!!! Power Steering works!! This thing is going to surprise the hell out of some people once its completed

Dont even ask what it took to accomplish this conversion Lets just say Buddy is an absolute perfectionist and his fabrication/determination should not be challenged!!! Buddy built this truck from stock form to where you see it now.

Wheres the Turbo???? You cant call that a Syclone with no turbo!!! Nice install looks like a fun ride.

Looks like a nice project, Im about to start an LS1 conversion in my Typhoon so its always nice to check out some others.

if it has a 700r4 i doubt it'll last very long

It probably won't be too bad. Torque is what kills trannies, My guess is that it won't make 500+ ft-lbs like a stock turbo SyTy can.

Nice AWD S15. Seriously though, you have to turbo the thing.

Mine will be a test mule for this too. Its not a stock 700R4 but we'll see how it goes

Very nice quality conversion!! I love the A/C. Can't wait to hear what kind of performance results it will have..

No I meant S15. It was my humorous way of saying that its not a SY w/o a turbo. I was dumping my opinion that wasnt asked for basically :lol:

I am curious on how it will run as well, it look like you did a nice job.

I am not sure your going ot surprise that many people any more than some of the other SyTy's around. Maybe I am under estimating your power level, but their are a fair share of 10 and 11 sec SyTy's around.

I have a buddy going 9.80's on horsepower only with a ls2. Those are very nice motors.

do you mean no power adder (n2o, turbo, etc)? hp is a given ;)

Yeah but I am guessing he isn't dragging the AWD (weight and driveline losses) and pushing a brick through the air. I bet those three factors alone would push a 10.9 Sy into the high 9's with the right traction/suspension

I went by the shop on Saturday and spoke to Ron and saw the Syclone. That thing is amazing! Ron and the guys up there know what they are doing. :tup:

I would love to have the time to put a LS1 in my Typhoon. A 10 sec LS1/LS2 seems like it would be a lot less $ then a 10 sec 4.3L Turbo. And more reliable.:2cents:

That is one sweet project. Giving me ideas on my syclone.

Any chances u can post a picture of the headers?
