not sure what it is with me and L's but hey its fine by me...this guy was the same guy i ran into awile back who claimed 425 HP ( I believe it)--he actually tracked me down as i was cruz'n along. He got infront of me at a light before i new it was him...When i saw him we smiled as i was looking at him through his side mirror...he's a nice guy...anyway i new it was on but last time i raced this guy---we raced 4 times...2 from stop 2 from about 10 and 30 mph...i won both from dead stop 1-2 cars or so in 1/4 mile and he barly won both from a role fender-1/2 car on me...We'll i can't chicken out and not race, but at the same time with him in front of my I can't build boost off the line or he'd be hauling me down the street as I would launch into the bed of his truck...Knowing that he can't handle me off the line, i wasn't going to risk blowing into him so i sorta had to let him go first...i new this guy was going to take off, questin is will i be able to real him in from a role and with him having a car and a half head start (he is in front of me) and he can go when he wishes, I have to react as i can't just ripp it not knowing if he is going to...odds not in my favor on this one. Light goes green and he just takes off as i suspected...I mash the throotle and as he is about 3 cars on me...it was cool to seem him launch from behind as those things are horrible off the line, or at least this one was...i could see why i destroyed him off the line last time we raced...anyway, back to the race...well we got nothing but straight road in front and two lanes...I get over and am pulling on him...I was realing him in (got it down to about 1 car leangth from 3) then we hit about 105 and I couldn't pull anymore---at about 110 he started pulling a bit on me---both had to shut it down at about then has the 30mph traffic was coming up real quick on us...So again, my truck would take this guy in a quarter mile because we'd go from a dead stop, but anything over 105 and im in trouble. He pulled over not to long after and I talked to him. nice guy and we both where laughing how we always seem to meet at the right times. Both had same views on race and he said i aint messen with ya off the line, but after 100 i'll get ya...I laughted and aggreed...I asked what he would top out at and he said he can't break 130...I think I can, so from 100-130 is his, but then i'd very slowly real him in again...but who knows??? Its all in fun! Nice trucks those L's, but i prefer m little sy!
One other thing---he mentioned he had a chip, air intake, and 2psi increased pully's on the blower.
My mods are ultimate, warlbro 255hp fuel pump, and AFPR...and misc.
Race was on t116---would be different story i think with some good gas and perhaps t1 20 or t2 20---
