I will be adding the Ultimate with 50lb inj's soon. A buddy of mine who is a huge believer in nitrous (he runs a 8 sec Hemi-Cuda) is trying to talk me into a 75 or 100 shot nitrous kit for the Sy.

Wondering if anyone has tried this set-up, and if so which kit fits our throttle body? Im assuming its the 93-98 GM TPI kit, but Im not 100%

Any major issues with using Nitrous that you have run into? It will only be used occassionally on the street 8) and once or twice a year at the track if Im lucky.

Thanks for any input you have!!

Only issues for those that have tried so far is a ventilated block.

On a stock bottom end, it's a no-no.

I ran an adjustable dry shot plumbed into IC flange on my truck for some time last year. Basically, took the plate system off my Chevy II (back when it had the 355) and used everything except the plate and fuel side. Just ran it tank-line-solenoid-line-jet. Used a NW adjustable single jet and bought a pack of 15-150 jets......started off with a 15 shot and worked up to 50 shot.

I saw cold MAT temps, and a noticeable increase in power (nothing amazing). I never exceeded 15psi with the nitrous on, so I didn't get the full effect. Played with it for a while and took it off a few months ago to start tuning for the Fall race season. It had/has potential.....I just haven't played with it enough. I'd like to push this build (@ a certain psi) as hard as I can, and then do the same with nitrous.......and compare the results (mat, et, mph, etc.....).

Maybe one day soon.......
