AutoTune Code59 and TunerPro 5

I'm not sure how many of you guys are still using Code59 but I am and I got really tired of manually reviewing logs and trying to update my F29x table based off of AFR correction averages.

I am only familiar with basic Excel functions. I knew I stood no chance of fixing the old AutoTune sheet so I decided to just re-write the whole thing in Perl and provide a web based front end to it.

I have used what I wrote 4 times now and its got my F29x table nearly right on. I'm looking for some other people that would be interested in testing it. You will obviously need to be running Code59 and using TunerPro 5. You need to be familiar with exporting log files to CSV and copying and pasting your F29x table in and out of TunerPro. You should also have a good idea how to open the 3D view of your F29x table and smooth any spikes and/or dips.

If you would like to give it a shot shoot me an email at: mattjw76@comcast.net and put AutoTune in the subject..

I'm still working on formatting the output into nice tables but it works as is so I'd like to have some others use it and see if it does a good job dialing in their F29x table..

EDIT:

So four of us have tried this now and it seemed to work well for everyone. I'm thinking at this point I'll just let anyone use it that wants to.. It can be accessed here <--------------.

Any questions let me know.. I keep adding more stuff to it so you may see additional data showing up in the results page..

Sounds really interesting, Matt. I sent you an email. Mike Renz may be interested as well.

I have been using it for a while on my TY with Code59.
I was the test Guinea Pig for the new online version Matt made.
It works very good.

Thanks, Matt.

Re: AutoTune Code59 and TunerPro 5

I'm planing to test it on the truck tomorrow. I took an old data log and and tune to see how it works and it is quite easy and streight forward! If I test it on the truck itself tomorrow I will let you all know how it went. So far I like it! Then I will just have to play with the timing...

Re: AutoTune Code59 and TunerPro 5

It did seem to smooth out my cruise a/f quite a bit. My truck still has issues keeping a consistent af ratio at idle but that is something seperate. The auto tune did do as it should though!

Also it won't paste from the webpage to the tuner pro table so I had to paste it into excel then into the tuner pro table FYI.

All and all I like it and when the truck is cruising it is much smoother than before. I just have to figure out the timing and idle. Thanks Matt good job!!

Thanks for trying it out and I'm glad that it worked mostly well for you.

I added a button below the new VE table that should copy it to the clipboard for you. Give that a shot if you don't mind.
