beating a dead horse- tach wiring

Hi,

Anybody know where there is a link to a sy wiring diagram? How about what wires under the hood are for the tach... I know there are the 2 plugs coming off the coil- 1 going into the harness and the other going to the distributor- are either one of these for the tach? It seems like it is a ground but?????
All of the other gauges are working, and I had removed the cluster and cleaned the contacts. Please, any help, as always, would be greatly appreciated.

the white wire is the tach signal.
er rather the smaller white wire.

Jas- Thanks man! Both myself and Team Green owe you big time. This damn tach is the last small problem I have to fix. I'm sure it something simple...
