since there has been some interest in the filters we have worked out deal for the syty community.go to www.hsperformanceparts.com and click on shop here.then go to supercars and race apps, scroll down to alwine syclone/typhoon.in doing this you can get one of these awesome filters for $139 instead of $159 retail.i wanted to find a way to offer these at a discount for members and this is the easiest way we could think of.
in the near future we are going to be offering a smaller version of this filter for our turbos .i will let everone know just as soon as they become available and these to will be offered at a discount to sytyers.

Re: billet oil filters

...Don't take this wrong, but your website is a bit difficult to navigate or forward as a complete link to for a specific item. Especially if you dont have high speed internet access.. Anyways does the oil filter come complete
with a spin-on chrome or billet cover or is it a 1-piece arrangement somehow all billet? Sorry,
I just couldn't handle the patience required to understand the graphics/text on the site.

It says on the website that you take it apart to clean it. You can clean it with solvent, kerosene, carb cleaner. anything that cleans even dish soap. It is made out of medical grade type 304 stainless steel micronic cloth. a 1-inch square flows 1.9 gallons of oile per second at on 1 psi of pump pressure. the housing is made out of 6060-t6 billet aluminum. it has a rare neodymium earth magnet on top that has been nickel plated to catch all the particles on the cloth. It is an awesome site just that it is a pita to navigate.

Re: billet oil filters

I would be down for one too. I think I would like one that is anodized black though. I am not into having only one shinny thing under the hood! My hks bov is even anodized black.

Re: billet oil filters

I was able to naviaget straight to it no issues.
the flash site is a little busy and noisy but very art deco techy and 'usable'.

Just not as convenient as the old html table style of the 90s. thats all.

A+ job on both the site and more so the filter.
Are you going to offer them at this price for us for good or is this just a GP buy in?
I want one but cant budget it right now...

Re: billet oil filters

So can we still get them for the $139.00 + shipping price? I only see it for $159.00 + shipping.

Re: billet oil filters

There's one on our truck! Very nice peice... fits the housing perfect!

Now I can keep a eye on what's being caught by the filter on oil changes quickly and then put it right

back together in two seconds!

Thank you Dave!

Re: billet oil filters

i am waiting a call back to see if he raised the price on us or what.i know the last time i talked to him he had only sold 3 filters to sytyers.maybe the low numbers didnt justify a discount.when i hear something,i'll post it.sorry for any confusion.
