I bought quite a bunch of stuff off him back in the day.

All lexan RC car bodies have to be fitted to the chassis you are using which means you have to measure and drill the holes for the body posts, cut the wheel well openings as well as trim the bottom of the body.

So you're saying that you had to cut out the wheel opening? My Bolink body already has the openings cut out, as well as the body post holes

Yes, we had to cut out the wheel openings. Was your Bolink body brand new in the original package? I bought mine brand new in the package with the decals.

No, but I all of the other ones I have seen have been painted the same blue with the holes cut out already.

Thats probably because Bolink made a Syclone kit which came with the body and chassis which is basically a ready to run version with holes cut out. They also made just a clear Syclone body without a chassis.
