Breather huffing a little

Any type of input?
Moisture in the system? Possible lower intake manifold gasket not seated correctly letting coolant in?
New install- small breather on the driver side valve cover. Never seen this before. Had a catch can setup prior that had a breather also.
During extended sit time is it possible the valve seals or something could get dried out? Causing some blow by? I guess the real answer is get out the compression tester.
Checked dipstick a few times for moisture/coolant. Not like it's breathing white out the tailpipe. Just seen a few huffs and puffs during run time. Maybe is it a operating temperature issue? Been out of the groove for so long just looking for something to go off before I take it for a spin and go back into the " dark side" of the truck world.
Just looking forward to driving it again.

I am by no means an expert, but this is what I would start looking at.
Breather on drivers side valve cover is fine. Not sure what else you have on the opposite side, but if at least a breather that is ok.
Run a compression test to eliminate that possibility.
I wouldn't be real worried about operating temp at this point myself. As long as the truck is allowed to warm up fully.

I have the port open, as the breather showed moisture shooting out of it during a rev of the engine.
I keep pulling the dipstick to check if anything settles and I can't see really anything. I did buy new oil and a filter but don't have the time right away to get under and pull the drain plug.
The truck sat with no oil in the pan for a extended time. I drained all the fluids. Transmission was out/rebuilt and dry. I had the fuel tank out was working on stuff that was empty and the oil was out... Finally getting back to address some stuff and I had noticed the moisture. My dad claims I blew a head gasket but I explained that I believe I would be seeing white steam out the muffler where right now I'm just seeing some steam out the breather which I'm not exactly sure either. Not a expert it's been so long. Maybe it just needs to get up to temp but I've never seen it- had a catch can setup before with a AN fitting welded to my valve cover and it never did it before. I just switched out to stock Valve covers.

If your oil is not milky then water is not leaking into your oil. It would be best if you were to put the stock PCV system back on the vehicle. You will usually have smoke like vapor from the exhaust until the engine gets up the temperature. Also if smoke comes out of the oil fill when you remove the cap is a way some people use to check for blow-by.
