Can't remove Front Drive Axles

For what ever reason both front drive axles are stuck at the flange. I've removed all the bolts, ect...It's literally just hanging there. Give it a tug, but its not coming loose. I sprayed some PB Blaster on the crack where the two flanges meet, all the way around, but it hasn't worked yet. Any other ideas?

Try tapping around the circumference with a rubber mallet.

Last week I had to use a 16 ounce framing hammer to bludgeon the front driver's hub off my Jimmy's axle shaft.

But in your case start with a gentler touch since it's a Ty.

X2, they're just stuck. Get something between the flanges and whack on it.

Ok, tried the rubber mallet. No dice. I'm gonna try to get something in between.

Just put the bolts back in half way and hit each bolt as you go around... Works for me in the yard...

This worked. Just held onto the axle with one hand and hit the bolts with a hammer in the other. Wahoo thanks for the tip.

Just don't hit very hard. A light tap on prolly 1/2 of them should do it. Reason? You're pounding against the snap ring that retains the axle and I don't think it was made to beat on. Just a thought. Glad it worked.
