Check Engine Light Cold mornings

Every morning when its cold out my trucks Check Engine light comes on, on start up. I doest turn off till u drive for about 5-10 miles and it is real hesatant when u take off.??? any ideas? after it warms up it goes off and starts boosting fine? :roll:

I dont have a scan tool..... I REALLY need one i just dont have the $ right now help me out

go to autozone and have them pull the code for you OR pull them yourself.

And yes, unless there's something really weird going on, the code should be stored even after the light goes out. You don't have to try to catch it while it's doing it or anything.
