Datalog with tunerpro, help reading it

Got my truck back from the bodyshop, and while i had a little dent fixed my moates datalogged arrived. Took me a while to figure it out, but I think I got a good log.

The problem i'm having, and maybe its in my head, is that the truck seems sluggish at low rpms when trying to acclerate, such as slowly turning corners in town, slowly accelerating on highway, etc. I would kinda of explain it as the timing is getting retarded and losing torque. Maybe I am just expecting something that isn't there.

Here is a log of me driving around the block:
Some random knock, not sure what that is from, and nothing else that looks weird. Knock seems to happen after i let off the gas, so I don't think thats an issue.

Mainly just a test of the data logger, if anyone has time please let me know what is up.

Why dont you use Datamaster? Unless you have a ton of patience with spreadsheets DM is the way to go IMO. Way easier.

I just noticed you could use datamaster ;)
I will try it, I see everyone using RT, and thought it would be simpler.. guess its mainly for emulation, etc.

I will put up a datamaster log in a few thanks!

TunerPro is just as capable at datalogging as it is emulation. IMO (and I say this as a HUGE DM advocate), TunerPro is far more powerful as a tuning tool than DM. It's datalogging capabilities reach far beyond simple graphs and viewable content, as it incorporates data tracing, dashboards, and more.

I'll get this Datalogging tutorial finished to help you out. Look for it in the next few days.

I'm seeing your commanded idle at 1250. Are you running in ALDL mode? Also, you might check the health of the IC system as it seems like your IAT temps rise pretty quickly (and fall slowly) for a place that had a high today of 65 degF.

Ahh, i wondered what that switch was.

will require a 10Kohm resistor to be plugged in between pins A and B on the 12 pin ALDL connector in order to put the car into "ALDL mode" and have the serial data start flowing. We provide a 10Kohm resistor with our cable.

Apparently it was on, should I relog without it on?

Also any idea on the knock thing? Maybe false from tranny?

Run in Normal ALDL mode and record a run. Let the truck get up to temperature and do a slow rolling pull into boost. If all seems well, get up to about 55-60 and do a WOT 3rd gear pull. Post that log.

For nearly 24 psi with IATs above 160 degF, 3 deg knock ain't bad to tell you the truth. Things of note:

- Again, higher than necessary intake temps....get that looked at. You're at 130 degF before going WOT and it was cool in your area today. Air in line? Kinked hose? Failing pump?

- What tune are you running? if custom, then you may want to make sure that your timing tables are optimized for the 140 deg thermostat you're running.

- You're not getting 100% TPS. take the floor mat out or do some squats tonight to be able to press the pedal harder. :)
