Drilling FPR

I have an AFPR and Im running 8an feed fuel lines to it for E85. I can't make the 90 deg turn from the bottom of the fpr. It hits the valve covers and intake manifold. I was thinking Im just going to re drill and tap treads into it so it just directly screws into the fpr. That should give me enough clearance.
I also noticed how small the openings for fuel are inside the FPR. I was thinking about drilling the fuel passages larger. What effect would this have on it to regualte pressure the same? It just seems restrictive for 8an feed lines.

Re: Drilling FPR

use a banjo type fitting to the -8 line.

This one is a -6 but since its the return line it should be ok...

Re: Drilling FPR

The feed line is on the driver's side, the return line is at the bottom of the FPR.

Code what?
So you are running -8 to the stock fuel rail and regulator and -6 return out the bottom of the stock fpr or -8 return? I would think -8 in and -6 return would be sufficient. What size fitting and style have you tried using out of the stock FPR?

i flipped mine upside down on the rail and use a 180 fitting on my return makes it a pain in the ass to adj fuel pressure but i dont have to run new fuel line
