Engraved Rear Diff Cover

Just got this done for my truck today & thought I'd see if others were interested. The cover is from Summit, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SME-8510400/, $134.95 on sale now, but I think the TrickFlow will work as well. We machined off the Summit in the mill & engraved Syclone into it, .030 deep & bead blasted it. I can have your cover machined & engraved with either Syclone, Typhoon, or LSX for $50.00 each + shipping & paypal. If you want it engraved with something else, it's $75.00 each + shipping & paypal if we haven't done it yet, $50.00 after that once we have the file.

Looks good. I was thinking about doing this a few years back. This makes things easier.

I just my Summit one the other...but I think Typhoon would look waay cooler. If this will have the proper Typhoon font. Can you qoute shipping from IL 60192? Did yours come with nuts for studs....that were not included?

Nice, I have been wanting to do this for a while. You can count me in for Syclone engraved one. I put it off doing it for a couple years and missed my opportunity.

Do you have an address to drop ship it to? Paypal Address? What do you need to get started>

Yes, we have the correct Typhoon font. You need to supply the cover and have it shipped to us. For shipping costs back to you, figure for shipping from 97532 to you will give a good estimate. I'm not sure of the weight of the cover, since it's already back on the truck. Yes, the cover came from Summit with bearing cap studs & jam nuts, ARP cover bolts, drain & fill plugs, & a gasket.

I'll do one. Just let me know the address.

If you don't mind, I will mail you a UPS shipping label, that way it just gets billed straight to my account.

VERY nice piece :D! I can appreciate that a small enough tool was used to cut the small details. Glad to see someone else carrying the torch ...

Yes, we used a .0325 flat endmill w/ .005 step depth to keep the sharp detail.

The cover sans the gasket and hardware tips the scale at 4.2 pounds BTW ;):

Yep, that's what you gotta do to keep it faithful to the original. The smaller things get, the smaller the tools get :

I used a .010" carbide engraving tip for this custom horn button that I made for a member on here. Don't worry, I am out of the engraving business and don't do stuff for anyone but myself. You are doing TOP NOTCH work, keep the bar high !
