Cascading Inspiration
we had a pretty good time I think. The track was set up so they wouldnt let more then 60 cars in, I doubt they had more then 50.
Made for great test&tune action, because as soon as your ready to go down the track, the lanes were empty.
who was there:
Rob & Mona w/ Sy
Charles w/ PTE54 ty
Keith w/ PTE63 sy
Adam w/ Sy
Ian w/Sy
Greg w/Sy
Christian w/ nothing
2 SyTy Holandites (cant remember their names :-? )
Adam and I with the same setups were searching to break into the 12s.
Adam ran consistant back to back 13.1's.
I started off the day with a 13.6 and kept clocking it down, 13.4, 13.3 and ended the day with a hot 13.0@102. The last run took a 7-8psi launch (truck builds slow on the line) to crank out a 1.80 60'.
This after a previous best for adam at 13.45@95, and mine a 14.0@97
Rob sy put a smile on his face as well, after rebuilding the whole truck, he managed a mid 14 at 88ish mph in orlando. today he got 4 runs in, first meeting his goal of 13's with a 13.9. His strongest run didnt register on the lights, but he did manage to get down to a 13.7 before his upper radiator hose was too chewed up to run again.
Keith and Charles were both running under par, Keith kicked out a low 12, but couldnt do it consistantly. Charles, plauged by several issues and a mountain of knock retard, spent the day in the 13-14 range.
It was definately a good day for the stock trucks, and a pointer in the right direction for keith and charles.
