FAST Miami Meet?

Time to pick a date for the anuual FAST Miami meet. MLK weekend has been suggested. That would be January 18-20. I will try to line up things to do. There are several wrenching projects that need to be addressed. First let's pick a date and then I'll try to line up a shop and other events we can do. If you don't like the date put up a post. We'll try to accomodate as many as possible.

I'm up for the MLK weekend. I have a few projects:

- remote starter solenoid
- fender scoop (aka the 'Gary S. mod')
- abs removal

sounds good to me. highly doubt the sy will make it down there, in fact i know it won't. contemplating taking the bed and cab off to clean it up. i do need to get the bed off the truck to work on replacing the tranny/transfer case adapter...

Ok guys, I just spoke with a local speed shop that has a dyno, If we can guarantee 10 trucks it will cost $60 for three pulls with a/f ratio graphed. I'm not making any money on this I'm just trying to help out with the weekend.

obviously we're responsible for removing our own prop shafts.

There will be a trophy for the truck with the most HP.

I'm posting this from the emails that i've received so we can point people here for info.

The nearest hotel is the Quality Inn that a few people stayed at last year. The address is:

The mall near the house is "The Falls". I'm also very close to Dadeland Mall and the Shops at Sunset Place which is where the Gameworks we went to is.

Do we need lifts and a shop or are we mostly working at ground level? Last time it was $200 for 8 hours at SS Performance, just to cover the hourly of the tech who was there. Maybe we don't need the expense. I know Rob has some things to do, plus we have 3 Ty's to drop. Mine, Adam's and Chris's. we can do that on ramps and or jack stands.

As Rox gets closer to her due date, my window of activities gets smaller.

Begining of January would probably...maybe...might be good for me? Dunno.. its a day to day thing for me now.

At any rate...I'll say Jan, lets hope I can keep the Syclone running this time for longer than a day.
