First Data Log Questions

Could someone take a look at this for me. I'm pretty new to this and not sure what to look for. I noticed some knock retard when I get into boost. Anther thing that I'm confused about is the fact that boos shows up in only the (3-bar) column, and as far as I know the truck is completely stock. I also am curious about the O2 reading going down to 4.4mv and kind of just hanging there.

TIA

Jason

A uni (DM), or adl (TPRT) file is a little easier to look at if you could post one of those..:D

This is an Excel format. I'm having trouble locating the adl file on my drive. I'll upload it when I find it.
Do a global search for *.adl files. They are usually in your TunerPro RT folder.

I'm also having the same problem with boost not showing up in the 2-bar column when data logging. Anyhow, your knock retard is a little high: 9.32 deg at around 15.6 psi of boost. O2 voltage seems to be OK at that point. It's hard to tell if it's running lean without actual air/fuel ratio from a wb O2.

When I searched for the file the only result is a shortcut to it. It's weird because I can still open the file through tunerpro, but I can't locate the file on the drive.

Also how do I tell if its a modded chip for a 3 bar sensor? Otherwise how is it reading over 14psi if its only a 2bar?

- Open a text program like Notepad

- Open TPRT and hit the F4 button

- The top right box under 'datalogging' provides the path to your adl file. Drag your cursor through that text, copy it, and paste it into your Notepad program.... this will show you where your adl file is.

Yeah I've tried that. Its really weired. Tunerpro shows the file there, and I can even play it back. At some point last night, I ment to copy the file but selected cut instead, i just clicked on the file again since i hadn't pasted it anywhere and selected copy, then when I went to paste the file I got an error stating that the file is no longer located in the location. Do you think the file could be stuck in the clipboard, and how can I view the clipboard? I'll do another run, but in the mean time this is all I have.

Re: First Data Log Questions

Ok well after a winter of not messing with the Ty i'm back at it. I have located an .adl file and have it linked. I'm still wondering why boost only shows up in the 3 bar location. Is this the same for everyone, or do I have more than I'm aware of. Also beware there is a ton of KR. I'm gathering parts and will soon start to tune. I need to get the boost under control.

TIA for any input
Jason
