Front CV shafts

Typhoon ZR

I am running big torque numbers and consequently I am blowing out the inner joints of the front CV shafts, this is where they mount to the front diff. I am not running slicks on all four corners, so I am wondering if anyone else is running into this problem. Do you know of a race axle for this application?

Does anyone know what the part numbers are for the front CV shafts of a Typhoon? Also, does anyone know if the shafts are the same for a S-15 4x4 CV shaft?

Yes they are the same as the 4X4 half-shafts.

How ever some have the said the 4X4 shafts have the boots clamped further down teh axle and that some trucks it runs closer than others.

Check the clearance of your boots so nothing rubs and gets torn right off the bat.

Try local 4X4 shops...
Or autozone has a lifetime warranty shaft
pay for it once replace it a lot :-D
Also make sure your wheel bearings are good while you're in there.
