Gauging interest- rear c5/c6 brake brackets with e-brake

Like the title says I am gauging intrest in these brackets. I need an idea of how many people want these and a price range of what people expect to pay for them. I will have more details on them later.

I got a quote for a complete c5 rear brake kit minus calipers and rotors from KORE3 and its quite pricey.
I'd be curious what you can do these kits for including brackets/lines/ebrake components etc.

How about new hard rear brake lines from the "T" to the caliper hoses? No one has done that before.

i did some research into these this past weekend since i'd been intending on making a kit for a long time anyway, and am confused just a little. Don't the rear c5 backing plates bolt right up to our axles? There shouldn't be any 'kit' needed for a set of stock c5 rear brakes to bolt up. In fact, Baer used to sell stock rear parts for their kits back in the day.

The only thing needed would be the parking cable and bracket, which would likely be the same as the LS1 setup that has been figured out and I keep in stock. I'd be happy to send a kit for someone to try on their stock rear c5's if they've installed them. I have a set of rear c5's to put on my truck, just don't have the time to install them, plus i'm missing 1 side for some reason and need to source some more.

what rotors did you get for the rear? ones with an internal drum provision for the ebrake?

Yes, they're actual C5 rear rotors. They utilize the drum inside the rotor e-brake.

The e-brake stuff doesn't just "bolt up" they will need spacers and a bracket to mount the cable to pull on the lever. Right now I'm waiting on a quote to have the brackets fabbed then I will be able to get pricing and a time frame for availability

why reinvent the wheel:

i'm pretty sure the parking brake cables for the ls1 brakes will work with the c5 stuff too, the parking brakes are extremely similar to one another

the cables are the same but the offset of the drum and caliper is different between the two

I've got some tentative pricing 200 for the brackets and mounting hardware, or 550 with the e-brake parts included. I will not include rotors, calipers, or pads with any of the sets because it is cheaper for you to get them on your own. If you but just the brackets and hardware I will provide you with the part numbers for every thing else to complete the kit. I am not sure on availability yet I just got my quote back so i wanted to update you guys on the progress.
