up here, you'll occasionally run into the oil pan that's a little crunchy and will start leaking if you look at it wrong. I reckon you'll change your mind after you cave one in.....

I paid pep boys to do back when i threw a mount. $225 and I let them do the bleeding. I got the reciept back and it has blood stains on it. Book time was like 4 hours and it took 2 mechanics 8 hrs.

What is the part number for the Moroso solid mounts? Any Summit part numbers?

I got my frame pads and solid mounts from Mike@RPM along with some other parts or my Ty and the frame pads are a very nice quality piece. The solid mounts are nice and thick, no worry about these breaking.


Heres the same mounts at Summit, about a buck or so cheaper, but might as well buy them from RPM along with the frame pads and save yourself some shipping cost.

Thats funny, too bad I dont trust anyone else to touch my truck except for other syty people. When things get broken they dont tell you about it then you discover it months later. Well worth what you paid in labor I guess though.

Do what I did to replace the mounts, blow up your engine then you can kill 2 birds with one stone My fan ate up my shroud a couple weeks before the engine went. I have a bunch of fun stuff to put on all at once. I hate doing things twice. :tdown:
