What ever it takes!!
I'm curious, how much boost can the stock pistons & rods hold? Will they survive 25psi?
Like Don said....rarely does pressure itself kill, it's usually detonation. Keep the charge cool, knock free, and plenty of fuel and I've seen 25+ psi live just fine on a stock engine. Hell, Tyson ran 30 psi on a stocker for a long time (credit to tons of methanol and no knock). It's not the boost it's the knock. I'm guessing 25 for short periods without knock. Very gray area, to many variables. :2cents:

Scheeeez....I think I will stay on 20 psi for now. I have a built motor on an engine stand ready for reasymbly. The test ( stock ) motor is running in the truck right now. Just dont have time to do the swap right now & a fellow sytyer wants me to take the truck to the track today with his.
Its all in the tune.
25psi on th pt67? on a stock block? hope you installed a filter before the turbo if it's a dbb. that thing will rip! i did 115mp on 15psi in the 1/4 mile
22 to 24 on c116 should be safe 11.5 a/f
Is it knock or cylinder pressure that blows a head gasket? Both?
