Good find, I've been loving mine for a long time now. I must admit however I have had thoughts of selling it lately, no problems just need something bigger.

Wondering what it could be worth? 108k, new motor, tranny, computer... basically kept it pampered.

Looks to be relatively new but it is just not me. The previous owner bought it to protect the hood from road debris. I think the original name for it is a "bikini" bra. Evidently, girls like it. Maybe Joe could use it on the blue Ty and it would reduce the stares that he gets at his huge pipe a tad bit???? Better yet, I could probably list it on ebay and sell it for a rediculous amount to some goof since anything else SyTy related goes for crazy prices there.

$15 shipped for this bra..

I have a thing for womans undergarmets

What color combo? What price do you have in mind? Send me pics at shaun.trescott@us.army.mil. I like this one so much (comfort, looks, handling) I might just buy another one.

Re: How reliable is the Sonoma GT?

sonoma GT's are just as reliable as any sonoma or s10 of the time. the cpi unit is a common problem in the 4.3 vortecs but often its the hoses running to them. the cpi is easy to replace but kind of spendy.
i have one but my it was a work truck before i owned it and got the piss beaten out of it so now i put a 406 small block chevy in it. nice truck and rare

I have entertained the thought (if this one should ever blow) of dropping a cherry LS2 down in it. How does your truck do for traction?

Re: How reliable is the Sonoma GT?

with the stock rear end (posi is shot) but with 255's on the back, widest you can go in the back, traction off the start sucks. it really depends on the power my motor tested at 453 hp and 536 ft.lbs. of torque at the crank before we dropped it in. but for screwin around its a ton of fun. ive been chasin down ls6 corvettes. rain is crappy too. i plan on tubbing, cutting the frame and getting a custom 9" rear end with some wider tires to cope with the traction problem. but being 18 and in highschool i dont have the funds for the whole rear end project yet

The "bra" is from covercraft, and they discontinued the T style cover several years ago. You may have the last one in existance :)
FYI, they sold for about 30 bucks new.

I've got 275's on mine with no problems - you can actually tuck a 295

Sounds like you have a very nice ride. Post some pics sometime if you are able...I'd like to see it.
