He has a 3.8 in there and they blow head gaskets not like us we blow rods...

Yea I decided to give up on the felpros and went with a new set of cometics. I resurfaced the heads (they were pretty twisted) and I THINK I have the block straight. I used a chisel sharpening stone, a machinist straight edge and metal dye to smooth the block deck , and to make it flat.
From what I can remember, it was running really lean though too, and in the video you can hear it lose power and then the head gasket blows. I say 14.5ish afr's before it went, which won't knock but there isnt enough fuel going in to cool it down. I probably turned the ground strap into a glow plug. Next time down the track i'll richen it up a bit, and maybe pull timing down.

O-ring gasket available?
The 3.8 only has 4 head bolts per cylinder, always harder to keep the heads down on them.

Yeah the rule with the GNs was once you blow them more than once, forget it, re-deck them.
Should be much better with cometics and a fresh deck.

I would look at RJC RACING head gaskets. As long as the deck and heads are good (straight). They will seal even with eight bolt heads. One more question are they iron heads? I have run a Buick for along time and have tried alot of head gasket. Just like Justin said the Buick is hard to keep sealed when you run it real hard.
