Re: jhacking first real pass
John Gerber is 100% correct. The hardest part is figuring out how fast you really want to go, and once you reach that point - stop. This has been something I have been stumbling on for some time now. It is in my personality to go for the jugular at all times, but I am older, I have a family (along with responsibilities), and a career that all command great amounts of my time.
I would love to come after you Frank, but I dont have the bank account to throw cubic dollars at it. I think I will be happy keeping this bucket of cheap parts together and make a few more 10-second passes.
I wish all of you luck in whatever you do. It would be great to see Jamie continue pushing the envelope in his Syclone. The same with Bully. The same with Robert. Our ego's will tell us that our build is particularly more impressive than the other guy's because of X, Y, and Z. If you're racing in a class, do what you have to so you are competitive. If your only goal is to bring the fastest SyTy back to the US, good for you! Just go out, have fun, and be safe! We should all be able to do this as friends.
