hi all
has or does anyone own a KB Jimmy1 turbo?
i am looking for feedback far as spooling and driveabiity, boost control,etc.
i already have t so pl skip the usual KB bashing!

I had one years ago. Not much of an upgrade, but you should see a couple tenths. Spool up and driveability were basically unchanged from stock, from what I remember. Boost control was a little better for me, but not great by any means. At that time I had NO cat, so sometimes it would hold kinda steady, sometimes it would creep up, sometimes fall off.

It depends what day of the week and also what month of the year it was originally purchased from KB.

Werd on tha street is they handed out whatever was sitting there that day as a JImmy 2 or whatever they feel like calling it.

Call them 4 times and ask them what the specs for a Jimmy 2 are and you'll get 4 answers, if any at all

I think you'll get a better turbo by sending a stocker out for a larger wheel and some porting. so thats what I am doing.

The jimmy 1 is nothing
Jimmy2 is something nice with a mitsu wheel 12 turbine .70 compressor and a super 60 front wheel which has 58mm induser
Ive been in low 12s with that
