over near tampa this weekend with ian at his parents... (caroline's bridal shower, ian's mom's b-day)
me and ian decide to out and see if we can find trouble...
head over to a hot spot...kind of an industrial area, big open 2 lane roads, and a gas station on the corner as the pit stop to meet up and start races and check out whos on the road....
cruised around for a bit.... came up on an old 300zx and a 3rd Gen Eclipse.... follow them down a small road, then do a U-turn back onto the main highway
came up on the eclipse with the wastegate open and BOV screaming..... pass him and go up on the 300 and a corvette that just pulled out with us doing the same thing....
get up to the light at the intersection... eclipse pulls up behind me...
goes green, i pull out slow.... eclipse is creeping...wont come up..... i slow down more... he finally comes up reeeeeeeeaallll slow..... gives me a look over and stomps on it.... i do the same and truck him hard..... shut down after i get a good few lengths on him....
he comes up...
"WHAT THE HELL IS IN THAT?!"
"its a v6..."
"BULLSHIT, WHATS IT GOT?"
"nothing...its just a v6"
"MAN, I HEARD SOMETHING......"
laugh on go on ahead....
cruise around a bit more....my tranny is starting to go... 1-2 shift is slipping hard and making some funny clunking noises.... hang out at the gas station for a bit...people are driving in and gawking at the truck... didnt know what the thing was....
go around one more time.... didnt meet up and head on home....
have to go back out there soon a little more earlier than we did and take the vid camera with.....
