Re: Lil boy in a SHO with a big mouth......
Awesome! Good luck! AWD really helps with the quarter mile times. I'm more into road courses, so the FWD with a Quaife is actually very fun.
Josh is a good guy. I deal with him on a regular basis and sometimes take the load off of him when it comes to helping people tune their cars. I also set up a group buy through him for the T-trim superchargers. If your brother is looking to EH and PC his intake... talk to me. I've set up 3 group buys with EH and I'm sure I can get him a great deal. For PC, I also know how to get him a good deal on that.
Especially one that pulls away from C6 Vettes and Ferrari 360 Modenas
We actually have 4 SC SHO's in Denver now. One is a dedicated track car that has a built 3.2L motor and 17 PSI of boost. It's made 520whp with crappy tuning. When we convince the owner to upgrade to the T-trim, he'll probably up the boost to 21 PSI. At PPIR, he passed a turbocharged Cobra R on the straights while his belt was slipping at only 12 PSI. In the turns, the R had no chance!

. I am going back to the track next week to try again. Hopefully with cooler air, better traction (track permitting of course
) and a little more tweaking a low 12 pass will happen. I would love to be able to say that I ran a low 12 with stock turbo and no alky...

However, that fell through and he is going to sell it to his bud/coworker now. If I had the extra moolah laying around, I would buy it. His '94 opal frost is pretty sweet (for a non black car that is :lol. That's his baby now and rightly so as it is in much better shape than the 93 is. He's going to get the intake extrude honed and upgrade to a bigger throttle body in the near future. The intake is going to get powdercoated as well.
