I was speaking with my brother the other day (he runs a machine shop that rebuilds centrifugal/reciprocating pumps for oilfield applications) and he told me that they have access to a schenk balancing unit, and I can balance compressor wheels and turbines on it. So, that's pretty cool.
I've torn apart many mitsubishi turbos in my time, and would like to offer some basic upgrades to the local guys, or basic turbo rebuilding. I don't want to make any money off this, more of a service for the local guys if they want to use it. Try to put back into the community sorta thing.
So, if you have a 17C that's toast, or want something bigger on a stock footrpint turbo, shoot me a PM and we can talk. There is now some really neat options for compressors and turbines out there.
