Price? Why not just go with the Milodon?
Has anyone test fit that pan? I saw pics of it a while back it looks very similar to the turbotime pan I have and I had to modify that one to work anyway.
I have the same question. I have one of the Milodons but no motor to test fit it with.
I have test fit the Milodon pan. The RPM pan had more clearance towards the differential and held about 1/2to 3/4 quart more oil (Almost 6 quarts as I recall). Also the AN fittings for the oil lines are very close to the top of the differential. You would have to fit some very tight 90* fittings to get them on there. If I had the choice I'd pick the RPM over the Milodon in spite of having to use the external block oil feeds the RPM pan requires. With that being said the pan shown here shows a lot of promise. I always wondered why RPM or Milodon did not extend the sump to the passenger side to regain the lost oil capacity like the pan here shows. Very nice job Xplicit.
im keep an eye on this thread as it would save enough money to buy this and not have t orun al the oil lines and clean up a lil space to
Are you doing a single turbo or two? I am planning to do two, but I am so far from mocking things up that I don't know the answer to the next question: will having a spin on oil filter rather than remote filter, be close to the down pipe? I know it is a tight package, but running an external oil filter might get it away from the down pipe.
Renz: do you have any pictures of your setup? Do you have spin on or remote? Anyone else with twin turbo's have mock up or existing pictures that can shed some light on this scenario?
The differential or propshaft is going to be in the way long before the downpipe.

it's the propshaft that will be a nuisance well before your downpipe.
