OK, we have a thread. There's big weekend long car show/tourist thing in Key West. http://www.southernmostcarshow.com/. I'd rather go north, been to the Keys a lot lately. No racing there at all. Something north perhaps? Last year was nice, get together at someones house, then a theme park for a day.

We've done it at Harmon's and the Turgeon's in the past. If either of them want to host again, Im game, but no pressure on them to do it.
Id host, but if we plan to wrench, there is limited space. as far as garage and driveway goes.
Idea would be to find a sizeable park to do a BBQ. Maybe one of the springs (Blue Springs, Wekiva, Ponce De Leon...) would be good locations. They have parking, grilling areas, and the kids (and adults) could go swimming in the spring. Only thing is that being a state park and memorial weekend, we'd have to make sure to get there early enough to park together.

The Harmon house is always available, we're an hour with in Disney, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Sea World etc. I heard talk about possibly having it at Rob's with the new pool but haven't seen much since it came up. Somebody ask Harmon if we can have a party at his house

To help jump start this festival a'la syty's schedule, lets iron out the party day & possible amusement park day itinerary . 2 days of bbq ? 1 day of bbq with one day of theme park ? Just 1 day bbq ? Speak up if your going and want a say in it all . If your not going , you may still offer suggestions . That way if we end up doing any of it , you can see pics of us having the fun you missed out on .lol
What parks do any of you have a preference to go see versus others ? (If that part works out)
What kind of food/bbq/pizza/beers are favored ?
How many kids are possibly coming ? Sometimes newer members wonder about bringing their kids because they don't know if other kids are going to be attending . Ages , etc .
Who is actually planning on showing up for a get together ? None of this maybe possibly stuff .
Anyone looking for random syty parts and need other members to bring stuff ?
Any members looking to off some previous upgrades and are looking for buyers ?
Good Stock part donations have been brought in the past , it always helps to have spare stuff if problems arise .
Post up any other questions , comments , and requests you can think of .

Jaci, Sami (8 yrs old) and I will be coming up. Jaci has to work Monday so we need to be out by not too late Sunday. Theme park ok, kid friendly activities for sure. Need info soon, to plan travel and hotel.
Locals did a great job last year so I'm sure they can come up with a good plan. I have no wrenching to do unless something breaks on the way up. Can bring parts though, although bringing parts to Harmon is like bringing ice to Eskimos.
