it'd be a pretty dick move to say you are passing on it, allow someone else to make plans to pick it up in a few days (because they have to travel to get it) then all of a sudden decide you want it and sneak in and buy it before the other guy could make it down.

it is what it is, nothing you can do about it. however knowing it is sold so you don't have to rent a truck and make a trip should be a given as in syty world we are generally pretty nice to each other.

Jasons 91 proto was movie truck for sure. I talked for hours with jason looking at it in front of me as we talked about it.

Any comment on him blowing smoke up your ass,since he knew in '98 that his truck wasn't the movie truck?

The rough sy is sold, the owner told me it should be picked up today. the other sy has 100K+ miles on it at 15k, I don't think it will sell. The aspen ty, he's set on getting 13K nothing less. This is an oder guy, and yes he is packing a sidearm!! He is not open to negotiations. Says he will torch it before selling cheaper. Do not go on his property without first going to the front door!!

In my mind Jason has movie truck. There his ty fits in many ways this one does not. Time frame of production tys and when movie was shot. Productions would not have been ready when filming took place. some executive of wb may have bought truck for himself for all we know. Its possible he liked the ty in lethal weapon and bought himself one. The proto would not have been wb owned ad pas owned it. wb possibly borrowed the proto from pas. Plus its not like the ty had a big part in movie. I just want to put word out so someone does not pay to much because its a possible movie truck. If someone still wants it do bad they dont care if it is movie truck or not and still want to pay big $ then so be it. I would love to have this ty myself if price was right. I love the color. But the asking price vs condition and milage seems high to me.

But obviously it wasn't.We got a doc with the VIN of the actual truck.
